Wrexham player ratings after the Reds capped off a sensational 3-2 comeback win over QPR away from home in the Championship.
With the 3-2 QPR win, Wrexham has given a new meaning to the saying, when life gives you chances make the most of it. The visitors were constantly trying to ward off dangerous QPR attacks in the first half and, at one stage, had no shots on target in the game.
Then, comes the second half where Wrexham begins aiming at the QPR goal and earn 3 deserved goals in the end. The bigger talking points from the Wrexham 3-2 QPR game are around Ollie Rathbone, Josh Windass absent celebration and whether this was the best Championship comeback from the 2025/26 season.
Still, Wrexham can’t turn a blind eye on the players that gave it their all and the ones who kept struggling across a chaotic night in West London. On that note, below are the Wrexham player ratings on a scale of 10 for every Reds player who featured in the 3-2 QPR action.
Wrexham player ratings after sensational 3-2 QPR comeback win
GK: Arthur Okonkwo – 7
Okonkwo dived well to his left to parry the ball through the woodwork but got beaten by a sumptuous volley seconds later. After that, Okonkwo again reacted well in time to prevent an overhead kick from going in. Couldn’t do much on the powerful header for the 2-1 QPR goal.
CB: Callum Doyle – 8
As usual, Doyle kept initiating Wrexham attacks down the left flank. Played a good passing sequence with Thomason and Broadhead to then unleash a superb top-corner finish for the 1-1 leveller.

CB: Dominic Hyam – 6
Hyam’s positioning was horrible in the first half as he left QPR attackers get good sight of Okonkwo’s goal. Still, grew better in his physical battle with Richard Kone as the game wore on.
CB: Dan Scarr – 7
Scarr failed to clear the ball properly in the fifth minute and Wrexham paid the price for it very soon. Rest, made a good headed clearance to deny QPR from racing into a 2-0 lead.
LWB: George Thomason – 7
Mbengue constantly kept fouling and dribbling George Thomason, that led to the game-changing red card moment as well. Despite that, Thomason connected well with Nathan Broadhead to find an outlet for goals. Fired a sweet left-footed strike himself, that set the tone for Callum Doyle’s equaliser.
CM: Ben Sheaf – 6
Sheaf displayed his wide range of passing against QPR and his long through balls boosted Wrexham’s creativity up the pitch. Could have got a goal here, but his effort fell straight into the keeper’s way.
CM: Matty James – 7
Matty James mostly stayed behind to make up defensive numbers at the back. Also, James threaded a few forward passes to find attacking midfielders Lewis O’Brien and Nathan Broadhead in the final third.
RWB: Issa Kabore – 6
Phil Parkinson may have thought Issa Kabore’s pace will aid Wrexham. However, QPR’s early wave of attacks meant that Kabore had to stay confined to the backline to avoid any further goals.

CAM: Lewis O’Brien – 5
Lewis O’Brien was terrible with his distribution in the middle of the park. His mistimed pass caused the 1-0 goal, and the 27 year old’s lack of physicality affected the visitors on set pieces.
CAM: Nathan Broadhead – 7
The best part about Nathan Broadhead’s playstyle is that he never stops trying. He didn’t get any decent shooting room against QPR, still managed to bag an assist while looking out for more.
ST: Kieffer Moore – 5
QPR isolated Kieffer Moore from the game so much that the Welshman had to track back to bolster the defence. Was visibly frustrated when the Rs reclaimed the lead at 2-1.
Substitutes:
CM: George Dobson – 7
Had a miscommunication with Moore that left Cook unmarked on the 2-1 goal. Elsewhere, Dobson tested the QPR keeper with a bunch of on-target efforts.
Not only that, Dobson also devised a short-corner plan with Josh Windass that resulted in the very corner with which Windass made it 2-2.
CAM: Ollie Rathbone – 7
Came on for the final fifteen minutes, and combined with Dobson and Windass to launch as many efforts on the QPR goal as possible. This commitment paid off as Rathbone sealed the 3-2 win with virtually the last Wrexham chance of the game.
CAM: Josh Windass – 9
Finally got a cameo in his preferred attacking midfielder role, and Josh Windass did what he does best. Attempted 5 shots including curlers and powerful long-rangers.
Finally, scored one goal which was arguably the best goal of the game barring Ollie Rathbone’s 3-2 winner. Didn’t express much emotions on Wrexham’s comeback but fans understand him well.
ST: Sam Smith – 7
Connected well onto a last-gasp header that later rebounded and Ollie Rathbone made the most of it. After the 3-2 goal, QPR latched forward to grab an equaliser but Sam Smith was at hand to make a few defensive clearances.
RWB: Ryan Longman – 6
Added fresh legs at the back and offensively had nothing much to do with Josh Windass and Ollie Rathbone firing strikes all around the QPR net.
